Dog Tips

Geriatric dogs with arthritis can sometimes drag their legs which can also result in some cuts and scrapes on their paws. Dog booties are a great way to protect their feet. The best kind of booties are the ones that have a velcro strap that wrap multiple times around the leg. This ensures that the bootie will not flip or fall off, staying quite secure.

I put booties on Daisy one time. For some reason she didn’t think she could walk she was stiff as a board, then when she finally did walk she attempted to shake the booties off with every step. I wish I videotaped it, it was so funny.

    Hi all!
I sell Neo-Paws dog boots in my e-bay store and those are the boots you are looking for! I started selling them after I had used them on my two rotweillers and my american eskimo dog and was so blown away by their quality that I felt I just HAD to get them out to more dog owners out there!! They are orthopedic and help dogs with arthritis, hip dysplasia, injuries, and DON’T FALL OFF! Of course, you MUST take accurate measurements to ensure you get the right size!

Go to my e-bay store at http://stores.ebay.com/the-dog-park and check out the FOOTWEAR links or send me an e-mail at thedogpark@hotmail.com
Be prepared to send me your dog’s
    Breed
    Weight
    Gender
    Paw Measurements
as well as your reason for purchasing (arthritis, injury, protection from cold, etc.)
Together, we will determine the mose ideal size for your dog.

The manufacturer of this product puts quality and the comfort of your dog first! You will NOT be disappointed!

    Cheers!!

I have some booties that wrap around with velcro for my Chow, Sammy. My problem with them is that they seem to flop around after he’s been walking. The bottoms are rubber and his foot seems to come out of the rubber so ya have this rubber bottom flopping around and he’s walking on the material instead.
Am I not wrapping the velcro tight enough?
*How can you tell if it’s too tight?
    Thanks for any suggestions!

I HAVE A BEAGLE THAT (CAN & WILL), REMOVE ANY BOOTIE THAT YOU PUT ON HER, REGARDLESS OF HOW THEY ARE ATTACHED. EVEN THE VELCRO TYPE IS FAIR GAME FOR HER TO REMOVE. SHE JUST HATES WEARING THEM. THEY SAY FOR HER BREED, A MEDIUM IS THE SIZE TO USE, BUT THEY SEEM TO BIG. THE NEXT SIZE DOWN, WHICH IS SIZE (SMALL) SCRUNTCHES UP HER FEET) WHAT DO I DO ???????? WINTER WILL BE UPON US SHORTLY & NOW I CAN GO OUT AGAIN…………….I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE HER W/ME @ NIGHT AROUND HERE, BUT………………………
