The Daily Dog Tip

Your relationship with your vet is as important as your relationship with your dog. If you love your dog, you should love your vet. Should you change vets, make sure you either take your dogs medical records with you or have them directly sent to the new vet.

Those records are legally yours, and not legally the property of the former vet. Just as it is for human patients, canine patients’ diagnoses depend upon a knowledge of medical history.

    Thank you for the advice/tip/reminder.

I sure hope we never have to change to another ‘Doc’, but a great reminder of things to do if or when moving or some other reasons, such as Doc retiring….. sure hope he doesn’t for many years.

    Great advice! Thanks again.

We are unhappy with our current vets (Banfield at PetSmart) and are looking to change…so this info was much needed. I really wasn’t sure if the boy’s records belonged to Banfield or if we could request that they be given to us or transferred. Thanks for the information!!

My old vet is charging me $1.00 per page to make copies of my chart. Can they do that? Thanks!

We own 2 beagles 1 we bought from a home the other we bought through a beagle breeder in Ottawa Canada, 1 has papers and a petigree and the other doesn’t . The one from the breeder has had many health problems so we have had to spend a lot of money on her health care our vet has been great she’s thoughtful and informative, the breeders vet on the other hand has been a complete loser says he to busy to consult with our vet so we have had to use the breeder to ask the questions needed. HUM something doesn’t seem right about that.We are less than impressed , with her vet not that the breeder has done anything wrong she’s been wonderful.

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any techniques to help stop content from being stolen? I’d truly appreciate it.| book cheap flight http://www.funtraveldeals.com/book-flights/
