The Daily Dog Tip

People who over-nourish their bodies tend to treat their pets the same way. Slender dogs typically live longer lives, so keep your pooch on the right track with these helpful practices:

1. Keep track of who in the family is feeding the dog each day. It is not uncommon for a canine to be overfed simply because of a lack of communication among owners. 2. Do not put an overweight pet on a crash diet. Focus on long-term steady weight loss. 3. Check the food and treat labels and know what your dog is eating. 4. As your dog ages, adjust portions accordingly. 5. Know that certain breeds are more prone to weight gain. 6. Replace table scraps with low-calorie dog treats.

Obesity is a problem for my dogs, as they tend to over eat a lot.

Even if they over eat, you can avoid obesity by regularly taking your dog for walking or jogging. Don’t do it continuously for a long time, if they are over weigh, they may find it tough to breathe and will get tired more. Walk for 10-15 mins and let it relax on green grass or in shades then do it again. Not more than twice daily is required. Don’t over feed with water while doing exercises.

Your concept is outstanding; the issue is something that not sufficient individuals are speaking intelligently about. I am extremely pleased that I stumbled across this in my quest for something relating to this.
