Dogster Site News and Updates

On June 16th, just 5 months after launching the site, Dogster users have added over 25,000 dogs to our virtual dog park. To celebrate we barked out a Dogster-style press release to share this great news with the rest of the world. When we first started we thought it would great if 10,000 dog lovers found and used the site. Now we have dogs representing 218 different breeds from 107 countries and from every American and Canadian state and province.

Thanks to all you great Dogster folks for making this happen. We got our Blood Hounds set on 100,000 dogs and we think the Dogster is gonna ferret that out! Go get’em doggie!

Woof woof! I added a couple significant upgrades to the server architecture to make our pages serve about 25% faster and be delivered to you, our dear visitors in about 33% less time. I’m no math-dog but I’m noticing I can click on dogs about 50% faster. What’s it like for you? Let us know.
