Hello to our tail-waggin’ friends!
As mentioned in our last site update, we’re on Facebook, and we’ve made some fun apps for you to play with. We also have a Dogster specific group on Facebook, and we would love to have more of our lovely Facebook pals join.
Just visit our group, click on “Join Group”. .. and then invite your friends!
It’s so easy, any doggie can do it.

We made a couple new Apps for the Facebook Platform. The nifty one Dogster member’s will love is ‘MY DOGSTER‘. Install this App and we’ll grab your dog profile(s) and you can pick which ones you want to appear in Facebook. We’ll automatically keep their primary photo and bio info up-to-date in Facebook as your update them in Dogster.
We also made a super cute App called ‘Daily Dog Pill‘ which lets you show off a different adorable dog picture each day. Neat!
Also, we’ve made a homepage to list all our Facebook Apps. You can highlight dogs in your area that need rescuing, and more. Let us know what you think!
It’s time to exercise with your Dog!
Do you like to go running with your dog? Hiking? Long walks? Well, if you look at your pup as your favorite training buddy, or even a great motivator to get out and enjoy the outdoors, we have a PAWSOME new addition to the community.
Dogster has partnered with the humans at traineo.com to start a “Fitness with Dogs” group.
traineo.com is a super supportive weight loss community that offers effective exercise and diet tracking tools. They also offer tips, tricks and advice from the world’s leading health experts.
And now, together, we’ve created a group where you can record you and your dog’s exercise routines, set goals for yourself, track results and meet other members that also like to get out and about with their pets to stay fit!
Here’s how you get started:
First, click Join the “Fitness with Dogs” group. Then click the ‘add your Dogster.com training buddy’ button and you’re off and running. (Here’s a hint: You’ll need your dog’s Dogster ID# to sign up). If you’re not a member of Dogster, there’s also a link you can follow to get you running buddy all signed up.
Sign up today. And get out there! Both of you!
