Hi Everywoof,
Dogster HQ is sniffing for a Part-time Receptionist to work at our San Francisco office. As always, we'd love it if we can find the right person from within our community.
If you or someone you know is interested check out the description on our jobs page and by all means, send in your resume.
Many woofs and tail wags.
Again this year, Dogster and Catster have been selected as finalists in the Webware 100 Awards by the editors of CNET Webware.com. We're part of the Social category this time around. Barks and meows!
The CNET Webware 100 Awards give kudos to the best web applications out there. From a list of thousands of nominees, Webware editors select 300 finalists for these awards. And the winners are chosen by the public—the folks who use and peruse the internet every day, like you.
Last year there were more than 5,000 nominations for sites to be included in the awards program, which Webware's editors pruned to a list of 250 finalists. Users then voted on those finalists—there were 489,467 votes cast—to come up the top 100 Webware sites for 2007. Dogster and Catster were winners in the Community category, all thanks to you.
Voting is open through March 31. Click here to cast your vote for Dogster and Catster!
The winners will be announced on April 21. Our paws and tails are crossed. As always, thanks for your loyal support!
Woof woof!

Dogster and Catster members are in love with Valentine's Day, judging by the number of Pet Pages being decorated with hearts... chocolates and roses being given in the Gift Shop... and flirty games being played in Groups. So we have a special treat for everyone: talking canine and feline characters that can be created and decorated for the holiday. You can even make yours speak in your voice, and then put it on your Pet Page, post it on your blog or send it to your friends. It's fun and easy--give it a try now!

Happy Valentine's Day from your HQ cupids.
Dr. Eric Barchas, DVM, a veterinarian in San Francisco and longtime friend of Dogster and Catster, has launched a blog on our sites. He has been answering pet health questions from our members for years, and he’ll continue to do so in a new, expanded format while also covering animals in the news and a variety of other subjects several times each week.
Check out the brand-new vet blog with information and advice from Dr. Barchas (pronounced “bark-us”—we love that!).
