Ann Lockley Bio
When she was three years old, Ann knew that she would be a writer and she would work with animals – namely dogs.
Through the years she has held a variety of positions – surgical nurse at the largest veterinary hospital in Canada, running a no-kill animal shelter, managing an internationally acclaimed kennel of show dogs and training her German Shepherd Dog for Search and Rescue.
Now, as a canine photographer with a growing reputation and as a regular contributor to many dog magazines in the US, Canada and the UK, her two passions have come full circle.
Whether behind a camera or at the end of a leash, Ann is never far from the dog world and her favorite four-legged companions.
