My Dog Suddenly Has an Obsession with the Ball

My dog has an obsession with the ball. It started 2 days ago. She follows you around all the time with the ball in her mouth, and starts moaning and crying like a baby (she NEVER did that before). She is also scared of everything. when i invite her to my room, she wants to hide herself in the closet. My dog has really changed! Im really worried. What is wrong, what should i do?

Hi Katya,
Something definitely has changed in your dog and the best thing you can do is take her to a vet for a full exam as soon as possible. If they do not find anything wrong with her, find an animal behaviorist in your area and have her assessed. Without knowing more information and actually seeing the behavior, there is not much I can do over for her unfortunately.
Let us know how she is doing and what the vet/behaviorist say – I am worried about her too!
