Thank you Dr. Barchas. The more people who actually come out in the open and support humane treatment of all our animals and good clean food for the entire population, the sooner we will get this mess cleaned up. Right now, if I want my own meat to be safe and want to feed my little dog good meat, I am forced to buy ground organic turkey at the local Whole Foods in Santa Monica CA for $9.99 a pound. How outrageous is that. I'm thinking of going vegan, but my dog will still need meat. Thanks again, you're a good guy. judijudijudi xoxoxo

In my opinon, this law did very little and was a waste of time. California does not even have veal calf manufacturers and they have a very very small number of pig farmers. In regards to the chickens, now we will just get our eggs from other states. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I was so glad to hear when this law was passed in California. Has the switch happened yet, or do they have time to change things? I just wish that the rest of the states and Canada would follow suit.
I saw this whole debate on the Oprah show last year before the law was passed, it was pretty intresting hearing from both sides.
