Camie, I agree that most Pit Bulls get bad raps. Most of the ones I've met are incredibly sweet.

Nonetheless, nobody can offer credible information on the aggressive tendencies of a specific dog over the internet. Any dog with aggressive tendencies should be assessed by a veterinarian, preferably one certified in behavior.

Some more information: my pit does have some stranger aggression, he barks at noises, people walking down the street, and he barks at my cofee pot if that means anything? lol!
My neighbor says i have a vicious dog, but he has never growled, shown teeth or anything aggressive towards any member of my family. I think pits just have a bad rap what do you think?
He dd com rom an abussive home, at two months old i rescued him and he's been with me ever since. I want to be able to stop my neighbor when he starts in on my hearing dog.

1. why does my nine month old pit poop on my bed? and by the fron't door? he's been doing good on the potty traing, i don't understand.
2. do you think a male pit coming rom a not so good past owner would wind up attacking us? my neighbor just won't stop trying o run this down my throat.
Thanks,
Camie

With the economy being in a "tank", and my husband and I on fixed incomes, we face great difficulty in purchasing flea/tick medicine for our Cairn Terrier. We live in a suburb which is landscaped and I don't allow him to go in the bushes or canal area. How critical is it that he have his monthly application. Also, the cost of his annual examination has become unaffordable. Our Humane Society does not administer inexpensive vaccinations to public pets--only accommodates their own shelter pets. Where can I obtain low-cost veterinarian services? This year, Smitty still has his rabies and dipheteria shots, but next year will be critical to him receiving updated vaccinations. HELP!!!
