Why not try a total hip replacement (or even an FHO, depending on how large your dog is) first? I did a THR on my dog when he was 2 years old and 3 years later he's as normal as can be. She's only a year old and I am hurt over this news and want her to have the best treatment to reduce any pain she may be experiencing. Her doctor has ordered medicine to take and I will be starting her on it this week. Stem cell injections sound as thou it would be a good treatment for her? Any words of advice from anyone?
