I think at times we want the Vet to just come up with the answer of why are pets are behaving the way they are. I admire the fact that you have the guts to say that you just don't know. Often MD's just diagnose the elderly with dementia just so the family can be satisfied with having a diagnosis. It's important to rule out other problems so the animal/human can get the proper help they need. Dr. B, what a great answer.
