		<description>I find it pretty strange of Kristina&#039;s vet to rule out an allergy because the baldness was localized to that area. I thought it was common knowledge that flea allergy tends to strike in that area - in both cats and dogs. I have a female cat who suffers from F.A.D. and that is her problem area too. She has regular on-the-dot flea treatment every four weeks but still occasionally has a flare up of itchiness at the base of the tail.</description>
